The Autronica 116-BHH-500/N/SPARE replaces the Autronica 116-BHH-500/N. Autronica provides spare part detectors, specifically intended to replace legacy detectors. Autronica legacy detectors are simply replaced with the spare part detector. The 116-BHH-500/N/SPARE provides the same functionality/configurability as the Autronica 116-BHH-500/N it replaces.
Please check that the socket installed on board have been produced after 2004, otherwise you need to install the new BWA-100!!
The Autronica 116-BHH-500/N/SPARE is a point smoke detector that detects combustion gases mainly consisting of visible particles. The BHH-500/N/SPARE has a built-in thermistor. The Autronica BHH-500/N/SPARE has a built-in thermistor and is designed for use with the Autronica AutroSafe and Autoprime systems. The thermistor provides the temperature information from the detector point. The SelfVerify function on the BHH-500/N/SPARE ensures the highest grade of reliability, because all units are tested with a calibration test every 24 hours.
The DYFI+ intelligence, combined with the SelfVerify functions and the allround smoke sensitivity of the BHH-500/N/SPARE, makes the BHH-500/N/SPARE a suitable detector for use in demanding applications such as industrial, maritime and offshore installations. The additional PCB coating makes this detector ideal in corrosive and humid environments.
The Autronica 116-BHH-500/N/SPARE is intended for use in hazardous area zone 2. It must be connected to a loop driver that is approved for hazardous zone 2.
