The Crowcon 20/20ML is a compact, lightweight but rugged UV/IR Flame Detector for general purpose (non-Ex approved) areas. The Crowcon 20/20ML Flame Detector can detect hydrocarbon-based fuel and gas fires, hydroxyl and hydrogen fires, as well as metal and inorganic fires at distances up to 15m (50ft).
The UV sensor of the 20/20ML – Mini UV/IR Flame Detector incorporates a special logic circuit that helps prevent false alarms caused by solar radiation. When the UV and the IR sensor simultaneously detect radiant energy, they will trigger an alarm.
